In the mountainous villages of the Black Sea lives Eve, a 75 year old corn cultivator. She and the neighboring women eek out an existence in this harsh and sun whipped land of dust, wind and snow.
Over the steep hills, Eve and her friends carry on the traditions passed on from generation to generation of raising corn and potatoes. They work all day on the slopes, plowing, planting, gathering manure from their cows and spreading it over earth, guarding their crops from the hungry bears, harvesting and finally milling. The younger children help, the men sit in cafes talking amongst each other. For Eve, this life is in her blood -- sweat and tears. Turkey, 61', 2019 Directed by Murat Sari .
